N.E.W.S GIVES

Here at N.E.W.S., we are dedicated to helping people, both within our clinic and out in the community. We strongly believe in giving back and that by helping one, we help us all, and that ultimately lifts everyone up.

We are committed to making better health easy so you can live your best life. This commitment is reflected in our activities, which range from fundraising events to free educational presentations at our local senior centers.

Additionally, N.E.W.S. proudly participates in and sponsors events throughout the year with The Friends of South Shore Health, an amazing organization that supports the South Shore Health System by organizing and sponsoring fundraisers, social and educational events, and the South Shore Health's Friendly Gift Shop, with proceeds benefiting patient care.

Join Dr. Bryan Duong of New England Wellness Solutions as he travels to local COA’s to deliver a FREE presentation on Joint Pain. During this presentation, Dr. Duong will cover: The benefits of acupuncture for joint pain, dietary changes, including specific foods and supplements, to support joint health, and Shockwave Therapy, a revolutionary treatment for blasting away joint pain. Dr. Duong holds a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University. Driven by a desire for safe and effective medicine, he pursued acupuncture, graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University with both Masters in Acupuncture and Masters in Oriental Medicine degrees (MAOM). He then earned his doctorate degree at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (DAOM). Dr. Duong is a licensed Acupuncturist with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Patient Appreciation Event

Our event for YOU! We are so grateful to be a part of this community. To show our appreciation and gratitude, we created a Patient Appreciation Event. This is a fun day for all ages where we celebrate you! Full of yummy food and fun games, held at Ryan’s Amusements here in Hanover! Stay tuned for our next Patient Appreciation event! Date TBD. Events For A Cause

Set the Pace Road Race: An Event for Heart Health will take place on May 2nd at DCR Wompatuck State Park in Hingham. Run or Walk for a cause! Online registration is open. Choose from a 5K or 1 mile race. There will be Awards and prizes for participants as well as Wellness experts for massage, nutrition and more! Benefiting the Friends of South Shore Health Cardiovascular Care. All proceeds will be used to purchase a T6 Nu Step for the cardiac rehabilitation center.

This annual event is always a fun evening that benefits the Home Care Division of South Shore Health. It’s a night of delicious food, live entertainment, raffles, and most importantly giving. Get your finest cowboy or cowgirl swag out to join in on a night of boot stompin' good times as we raise funds for South Shore Health's Home Care Division.
