What is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone Therapy has been used both therapeutically and preventatively for more than 150 years to treat various conditions and diseases by stimulating the immune system, increasing circulation, and helping the body heal itself. Medical ozone can also be used as a way to remain healthy and help avoid disease altogether. Ozone therapy encourages your body's stem cells to move to the treatment area, where they can work to promote healing.
How does Ozone Therapy work?
Medical Grade Ozone is created by running oxygen through an Ozone Generator Device. The machine electrocutes the oxygen turning it from Oxygen to Ozone. The ozone is then delivered through organic oil or distilled water. The oil or the water will help prevent irritation or drying of your sinuses. This process combines moisturizing and smoothing properties with the versatile healing properties of ozone. Here, at our clinic, the ozone will be administered to you via a nasal or ear cannula.
What does Ozone Therapy do for me?
Ozone Therapy is said to provide a wide range of health benefits, from improving mental clarity and energy levels to boosting immunity and reducing inflammation. Studies have shown that ozone can reduce inflammation, improve oxygenation of cells and organs, and help boost the immune system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Possible side effects of ozone are dryness, irritation, a warmth sensation, and a tingly sensation. All should resolve on their own within a few days, if not hours. We will discontinue use at any indication of an allergic reaction.
A warm, tingling sensation is often due to ozone stimulating blood circulation and increasing oxygen levels in the tissues. The first session is only 3 minutes with the ozone on (then receiving pure oxygen for the remainder of the session) to ensure that your body responds well.
If you experience dryness or irritation, then we may avoid future sessions of ozone, or we may decrease the intensity of your sessions.
When you appear to tolerate the treatment well, then we can increase you up to 20 minutes with the ozone on.

You should always consult with your doctor before trying any new medical treatments, but ozone is generally safe and possibly offers a wide variety of beneficial outcomes.
Unfortunately, there have not been enough studies done to recommend ozone to people who experience uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, thrombocytopenia, severe cardiovascular instability, seizure states, or who are currently pregnant.
